At Oterino Original, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how the JPam_NEO app uses device permissions and handles data.

1. Data collection and storage​

The app follows the principle of Privacy by Design:

  • No account required: You do not need to create an account or sign in.
  • No external storage: We do not collect, store or send personal data, device identifiers or usage information to external servers.
  • Local processing: Configuration data is processed and stored locally on your device and the JPam_NEO hardware.

2. Device permissions​

The app requests the following permissions when they are required:

Bluetooth (BLE)​

  • Use: Used to communicate wirelessly with the JPam_NEO timer.
  • Location on older Android versions: Before Android 12, Android requires Location permission to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. We do not track, store or share your location.

Wi-Fi​

  • Use: Used for hardware configuration and supported communication with the timer.
  • Privacy: We do not access your browsing history or other data on your local network.

3. Third-party services​

The app does not contain advertising, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, or third-party tracking services.

4. Security​

Although we do not collect personal data, communication between the app and the hardware is protected to prevent unauthorised access during use.
